Yes it could have been a short one. But a good story anyway. I can relate to the story ; a 3 1/2 year boy of a distant relative fell into a lilly pond at his own houses, when left unsupervised for just a moment. There has to be awareness of such things when children are around, as we see stories of children falling in ponds and open sewers. When we know kids like to play hide and seek, another item to add is to keep cupboard keys safely hidden !!
