This is another example of Karan Johar trying to bring vulgarity in to films. The plot is weak and confused, it also splits in to two different films & tries to justify adultery (Karan Johar's current favourite subject). The movie wasted R Madhavan, no idea why he would pick a film like this. There's a reason why this released direct to OTT & not in cinemas. This isn't a family film, I would recommend age 15+ due to its adult themes. Overall I would give this 1.5/5 - I only watched this cause of R Madhavan.

The west has been trying to destroy the Indian Culture for a long time. No better living media than the movies! The movie industry must be getting paid to do this. Karan Johar has been an established, credentialed agent (pimp) for quite a while, besides being a homo himself.

Clarification: Incest is acceptable in my family, even encouraged. It's one way my pappa kept costs down so he could buy a microwave. So when I say m-chod and b-chod, I am giving you a high five, not insulting you. Btw, Missionary *is* my favorite position with my mother. With my sister, it's 70, which is 1 better than 69.

This movie is a masterpiece in its class. Just like Kabhi Alvida na kehna, Karan Johar almost always brings the current issues, which are mostly hidden under the wraps of this culture, which is making it toxic to its limit. Thanks to Karan Johar for bringing such issues to lime limelight, and I know this movie will help a lot of people make their decisions and come out of their miserable married lives.

Good: Madhavan Madhavan Madhavan, a honarable mention to a lot others too. Gender Equality is shown, which is really good. Girls should not be trained for kitchen even boys need these skill sets. Bad: Dialogues that slowly introduce wrong culture- how can you expect anyone beyond16 -17 year old to be virgins. WESTERN HIV STD culture- please don't introduce. In North Ajay devgan;s daughter Shah rikh khna's kids are all about sex and drugs. Their parents have enormous amount of money. Our kids need to study, SPARE US.

Y’all are so quick to cry “cheating promo” that you completely missed the whole point of the film. It isn’t justifying cheating for no reason. It’s exposing the messed up way we Indians and more often than not, Indian men are raised. Madhavan literally spells it out at the end. The movie was calling out you, not celebrating infidelity. It’s definitely not the best film, but as someone who absolutely despises Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna purely for glorifying cheating in marriages, this one actually has one thing you people could learn from. Equality.

There has been a lot of political movement in the west, in the name of "feminism", DEI etc.. How has that worked out? "Feminism", DEI and "wokism" have failed. On the whole, men have abandoned women and women are now begging them to come back. Birth rates are at all time low.

You seem well-educated and successful, so why the insecure, outdated take? Western feminism gave women rights, safety, and respect. Meanwhile in India, women are still shamed for choosing themselves - the whole point of the movie. Blaming low birth rates on feminism is lazy. Hormonal disorders are ignored, abuse is normalised, and women are blamed instead of supported. It’s not feminism - it’s the broken system. It’s ironic ur living in the US, led by one of the most openly misogynistic figures in recent memory - you want to lecture the rest of us on feminism’s failures?

LOL, give it some rest sis. This movie is nothing more than a desi version of the "40 year old virgin" - thirst traps, shaming, the works. aka an incel/SIMP's wet dream. Ffine if you want to drink that kool aid, but will you be OK if your man falls out of love with you suddenly and leaves for a younger woman? Didnt think so.

Lmao where'd you get the thought that I support her cheating from? The entirety of my comment is about the main characters' relationship if you couldn't tell. Thats where I think equality comes in. In the end it says that the husband "Gets away with it" while "she pays the price" or something along the lines. Meaning he has also cheated before. I wonder why no ones talking about that. The woman didn't fall out of love "suddenly", if I was emotionally and/or physically abusive to my man for like 28 years I'd hope he stands up for himself and leaves for someone better.

yea I agree with this. adultery is shown but its shown as a consequence. the consequence of taking your partner for granted merely because u assume they are your property due to patriarchy. the movie does not promote the idea of it happening, in fact it discourages it by showing the infidelity as an unwanted punishment. its also not saying u should cheat if ur partner sucks so you are bang on. equality

Lol @adi. This (crappy) script has so many holes - 1. Why did the brother cheat(attraction isnt a choice) and why didn''t bhabhi divorce his a$$ first time around? The (classic) bahu sacrifice card? 2. So what changed? She makes $$ (and enter SIMP jeeju) - reducing the brother to a mere meal ticket. 3. What message is she sending to her own daughter(and younger gen)?. Serious note, year's 2025, info is out there and men aint that stupid. "Equality without responsibilities" and thirst traps only goes so far.

Sister in law was being ill treated. Still not an excuse for cheating. At least, leave him first. Not a great foundation for the 2nd relationship. The app is as wrong for him as her. They are on different wavelengths and desperate to pair up. Another bad foundation. Bad movie choice for Madhavan, may be taking advice from Massey. He was the only reason I watched this movie. Regret it. Didn't realize Johar was behind movie, but makes sense.

The movie became too sickening to watch, in context of Indian ethos, when the aged sister-in-law of the hero fell for an opportunistic, narcissistic relationship with a supposedly "loving" Bengali Babu who was instead keen on destroying her marriage and family that included her misguided teenage daughter. In their blind "love" they seem to have forgotten about their role of uniting the heroine with the hero. The story had nothing to do with "equality" but was more for promoting a selfish lifestyle. The role of a principled and sensitive man was played impeccably by Madhavan.

This is a bs movie. Well the producer been trying to collapse the culture and family bonding's. If the woman said she isn't happy for last 28 years she should realized it in first 1 or 2 years. What's the fault of the man here he's gonna earn and take care of his family and an outsider will say some flirty words and she will start thinking that's her real love which she been looking for last 28 years and leave the man like now he will become all alone again and start thing he's whole life was lie. The story plot was really week.

My fellow Bharatas and followers of the Prophet. We have stood for 40 and 12 centuries respectively and withstood many attacks. A movie by KJ or acting by FSS will not break us. Ignore comments by woke ladies and feminists who try to justify cheating and also ignore women who claim abuse every 5 minutes. These are passing fads which will vanish in less than 20 years. Our civilizations will continue to exist until the end of humanity

This is clearly an attach on Indian cultural values. If your husband does not respect you, et a divorce. Now imagine the genders reversed. A man tells his wife of many years to spice things up. Wife disagrees. Husbands finds another woman he "falls in love" with. When the affair is caught, says to wife I am not happy with you and leaves her. Is that ok? Pure chuuu. And Shree being protagonist agreeing to whole thing is absolutely absurd. Also when he says to Madhu "i forgive you", do it "within limits" is absurd.
