This film shows the evilness in man's heart, and that the line between humans and savagery is very thin. Also, in theory they did not actually use real animals in the making of this film. In my, opinion, Lijo did a fantastic job!!

Could have made the last 10 mins a little more subtle but at the same time conveying the message that humans are greedy and there are a lot of animal instincts hidden within. Last 5 mins looked to misfit from the rest of the movie and from a different genre

I started watching it with great expectations. However, the movie just did not live up to its hype. Bad direction and bad acting all around. The dialogues doesn't even sync with lip movement for some of the actors!!! I have seen better production quality and camera work in Youtube short films. I can see that the director is going for some Tarantinoesque style of movie making hoping that this movie will have a cult like following. However, it seems like Lijo Jose just doesn't have the caliber to pull such a movie off. Hard Pass!

Direction, photography and editing top class. But screenplay and acting did not catch up. Even Antony's acting was quite bad. The climax went over the top of my head, now I have to spend time to understand what the Director meant. Manushyane menakkeduthan.

Great movie! I really enjoyed it. Simple yet very engaging storyline. I was hooked from the beginning. Ending was a bit different and unexpected, it works but I'm still in two minds if it fits the move or not. Whatever, definitely worth a watch!

One of the best Malayalam movie I have seen. If you're seeking entertainment, please don't watch. This is a serious movie. Few may feel that this movie is raw. It's actual life, isn't it? Humans are still animals, they are greedy, selfish. The truth is shown in this movie. Performance by actors is brilliant. The frenzy of the crowd during ending scenes are brilliantly captured. Few graphics are amazing. Once again, this is not for entertainment.

Good to me except the climax. I don't think any small village near the forest in Kerala has a population equal to a municipality. Other than that the movie shows the realistic nature of people on a great canvas. I have seen in my childhood that the entire village running behind a thief and all.

To those who are criticizing the film, this has been selected as India's film for the 2021 Oscars. This film is alike the book, 'The Lord of the Flies', which, like 'Jallikattu', should be taken too literally, as there are many hidden details and symbols that give an insight in the inner evil of humans. This film was a riveting ride that again shows the savagery in humans, and is an excellent film - kudos to the team.
