The movie starts slowly, building suspense, then the second half picks up with well-written, dramatic scenes. The director smartly included exciting "mass" moments throughout. GV's music is a major weakness, sounding uninspired, and it's clear he doesn't have any talent. Despite this, there are several standout scenes, like the police station, the "kizhangu" scene, and a powerful final 30 minutes. The intermission felt like the only real low point. Ultimately, it's a welcome return to the style of classic Vikram films and is worth seeing.

Fantastic movie with a tight, gripping screenplay. Enjoyed seeing it in theatres. The screenplay keeps you engaged till the end. One negative: The editor of the movie (or the director should have completely removed the romantic portions which happen during the marriage ceremony. That romantic portion seemed unnecessary and out of the story.

ya so many unconvincing logics... May be in prequel, they will justify some. Whatever the flashback was shown, it didn't convince why he has to be loyal (the family was very normal only, big villain was not a periyavar at that time).. why Tusara Viayan should not have forgiven their family and not allowed the family to enter into their house in climax(sister suspects based on this reason). SJ Surya's climax turn is also not convincing though he is a villain..

The villain characters are swapping between father, son and sj surya and at a time only 1 is strong and the other 2 are weak and they take turns, which is kind of confusing and making the story weak. Also didn’t explain why vikram bows to that family despite every member in the family takes advantage of vikram and his family. Music could have been better, but overall good.

Yes, he went straight to sj surya and threaten him, but never saw a scene with this dad and son. The son character was always bullying vikram, but then he goes and help them. Only time when he can’t find an option to escape, he kill the son and the father at climax. If he didn’t bow or been loyal, he could had done that earlier.

Full credit goes to the director for his exceptional skills behind the camera. If he is indeed a debutant, hats off to him for delivering such impressive work. The film is skillfully crafted, with the director ensuring it unfolds entirely in darkness to reflect the story's single-night setting. Both the hero and heroine have done remarkable justice to their roles. The cast of villains is extensive, and each one delivered their part exceptionally well. Standing out above the rest is SJ Surya—what phenomenal acting! Without him, the movie would lose its essence entirely.

vikram also signing and acting worst movies lately, this movie also one of that worst movie. dont know why and what inthis movie. everybody in everywhere, sometimes they fight sometimes they compromises, stil to the end of the movie i couldnt follow what is directors point of view. most of the times it proves if story and direction is good, cast doesnt matter. worst movie

Director has let the movie down... Vikram is a mass action guy... you dont need BGM when he is delivering dialogs he can carry dialog... the ending was pathetic ... Dialogs are whispered so many places...
