The play has the following format Act 3 Part 1, Act 1, Act 2, Act 3 Part 2. So you have to be patient. Anyway, the starting Act reminded me of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf.

I may have been mistaken. It's Act 2, Act 1 and Act 3. The point is it's not linear. And, it's in keeping with the adage "the second act is the best".
