By far one of the worst movies I have seen

All in all an immature effort......The director is quiet seasoned to make a mistake, like this movie. The actress was hoping she would carry the genes, but I guess she even took that bit for granted........ Actor i think follows Ranbir Kapoor and tries to mimic him all the way.....(Might be a lie,sorry i could not go through the whole trauma) Actors are taking the medium for granted.....and the director is napping all the way.....

This movie is terrible! The actress has terrible acting mechanisms that are overreactive, very inauthentic, and overdramatic facial expressions. Her dramaturgical approach in this movie makes the movie terrible, although I give her credit for trying. I can understand how the portraying of primitive love is compared to modern-day love but the movies just sucked balls. The movie with Saif is way better and has a stronger storyline while this one is just a waste of time and worth watching during quarantine!

Bad movie

Enjoyed it because of the two leads, he I know what he does, she has been a pleasant revelation, she is great in everything I see her, I think she will be one of the leading actresses in India some day not too far away.

this movie actually is great. There are some ideas that no-ne thinks about: 1) do women need to sacrifice career after marriage? 2) where is it said that is a wrong thing to love someone but maybe live with someone else(you can see the bar man Raghu loving Leena but sleeping with others)? note: this is discussed between 1h:29min and 1:30 in the movie. 3) regarding #2: the movie shows that there are some unanswered questions that maybe this world does not have: is love and passion made only for one person? if yes why? if not why?

The original Love Aaj Kal was better. Sara Ali Khan had a lot to live up to from the amazing performance by her dad in the original movie. It was quite confusing and really cheesy. The chemistry is there but it was a poorly scripted chaos. One of Imtiaz Ali's worst films.

I really enjoyed this movie. I didnt know whether I should watch it or not going by all the bad reviews but I am glad I did! Writing this review wiping tears from my eyes! Life is complicated! Just having a "good" life doesnt bring happiness. Yet it is scary to make a mistake which you then pay for with all of your life.

This movie is classic cult, ahead of its time. There are lot of things that youth as well as married couple should learn from this movie. We often mix Love with Lust, both are not same. Bottom line of the movie is that it is very hard to get both in one person and when you find that person then don't leave him/her under any cost (career, property etc)
