Why could not a Sri Lankan citizen visit his home country again? Why Sri Lankan embassy was not willing to collect the refugees back from India? I did not see anyone from Sri Lankan embassy shown in the movie. Did I miss something?

Please understand what was going in that country before you make any statements about it. We have no issues with Tamil people, we only had issues with the extremists. Let me make this simple for you... You decide to invite me to your house, and we start living together and after a while now I want more... I'd say this part it mine. and there's more. I want my name on the deed and whatnot...Now tell me what would you do? For 30 years both sides played games and it was enough.

Laks p, we all know whats happening in Tamil Eelam. Do you know the mothers who still search for their loved ones? Do you know about the Hindu Temples which get taken by the Goverment and Monks and converted to Buddhist viharas. Do you know the land taken by army/monks? Do you know people still die in the North? the journalists arrested etc. This all happened in 2024. Read more, many videos from Tamil Guardian, even videos police beating protesters who dont threathen anyone.

Not a bad movie. An awakening insight on the plight of refugees. I am a Singaporean retired and living in France and volunteer in the food bank for refugees. They are treated with dignity and as equals. We address them as Madam and Sir. Hope India will do the same one day!

The core theme of this movie is something, not the general public is aware of so not everyone can appreciate this it. Execution is poor there is no need to commercialize with romance, songs and fight. Only a person who has gone hungry knows the value of food.

Setting aside the core or message of this movie aside, the whole movie looks like amateur hour - acting, directing everything. Can't believe Vijay Sethupathi is part of this. Unbearable.
