I have watched Forest Gump couple of times before. Indian adaptation of the movie is pretty decent I would say.

Don't watch anti-indians movie.. Aamir Khan is an anti Indian. After 2015 I stopped watch his movies.

Not as good as the original & not too bad either. It could have handled the enotional scenes a lot better. I think the direction was the weakest part of the film. Imagine what Hirani would have done with the source material.

Well, I just watched a bit my suggestion would be to watch it if you want to watch an Indian version of Forest Gump. It's not for everyone, especially if you have watched Forest Gump. I think it was mainly for people or kids that do not speak English. or don't have access to watch English movies—no idea why this version of Forest Gump was needed. Apart from that Amir Khan acting was as usual good. everyone carried there part quit well.

A decent remake. Definitely a one-time watch. Good acting by junior artists and Mother of LSC and Kareena but overacting by AK. Good cinematography, and a background score. Now the main points where the movie fell short as compared to FG: 1. Character of Dan, 2, character of Bubba, 3. Music, 4. War Scene. More details are below, as only 300 characters are allowed. My rating- is 3.5/5.

1. Adaptation of Dan, there was no need for him to be Pakistani, in fact, he should have been Sikh and not AK. As in the original, it's Dan's forefathers that were in the army. The Sikh troops played a crucial role in the first battle of Ypres in WWI and WWII, yet their contribution was not widely rewarded after the war. This could have been highlighted. Sikhs have fought valiantly in all Indian wars. Also should have chosen a better actor for this role.

2. Character of Bubba Gump - If at all AK wanted to bring Hindu/Muslim union/angle to the movie, Bala should have been Baban Mia. 3. AR Rehman should have been the music composer, there is not a single song that you remember after watching the movie. No "Lagaan" caliber song.

4. Kargil war scene could be better. Indian movies such as Hum Dono from the 60s have better war scenes. I say so because the war is such a crucial part of the movie. Also, the part where the Indian army fails to recognize that Mohammad paji is not an Indian soldier was a fallacy and insult to the army. Enjoyed the SRK adaptation of Elvis. Sorry for the LSC team that the movie got such low ratings and the boycott due to the political Hubba-bubba. My 2cents. go watch it!!

this movie was good. not a great one like we are used to see from Aamir but still was not bad. Its always gives me joy seeing Aamir on screen.
