surely that uniform is not for the faint hearted and it must be such passion dedication irrevocable committment.. the real emotions expresed by both ultimate actors of Kajol and Prithiviraj is heart wrentching and melting at 35:00 to 35:35 & as a mom of two boys and 47yr old very much grateful for INDIA I am just emotional as I am already typing this comment midway just at that point of 35mins into the movie.... How much of sacrifice & blood shed... May peace prevail... may peace just prevail...

Jai Mankind really.... blood shed anywhere is just heart wrenching and peace with unity is sooooo beautiful... from little family units to a global community beyond any borders... love is simply a choice and to forgive is sooo possible and can bring much beauty even through the pain and the loss as there is no other better way or solution or law than love & forgiveness.... no one has got life easy... blood shed is painful.. I do pray that a brave generation who can love forgive and just repeat to love and forgive again and again will arise... ofcourse starting with me :)

yea that shades of human emotions is the beautiful one... from a committed army officer Vs a momma's emotions Vs a son's human rights and childhood expectations.... there is no straight line to it all... and the various choices along the way were all beautifully portrayed... truly time well spent and shocking to see some comments still being said as waste of time :( which does break heart. if such movies did not come how will we even know such moments in lives exist and the pain and the loss and the love and the forgiveness and more isnt it? thanks for your beautiful put comment !!

Awesome Movie!! Loved all the action and thriller with the ending superb twist. Before watching the movie i read reviews that its boring and time waste but after watching the movie my whole perspective changed and i thoroughly enjoyed!!!! Kudos to Kayoze Irani in his debut direction and IAK is stunning with his powerful performance n kajol mam is a diva, also Prithivi sir was marvelous and the man who played Iqbal Ahmed and Boman sirs powerful acting!!! MUST WATCH!!!!

This well made movie highlights the need for peace through strength; great acting and direction! Unfortunately, we live in a doggy eat dog world where violence has been normalized and institutionalized by major religions and all states. It has become a central theme in the "modern" world run by war mongers. Bollywood capitalizes on cultural tastes. Despite all the violence in the outer world, peace still exists within. One can do one's own part to first realize it and then try to project it in dealings with others though, unfortunately, a dog's tail can never be straightened!

This was a good movie, and as for the ppl commenting in this section regarding Pakistan, India, and Palestine. Please be respectful towards each others nations. For example I'm an individual who comes from both India and Pakistan, and both countries are dear to me. Bloopers galore. Kayoze Irani has a big banner and an ensemble cast but he comes up with a complete dud for a screenplay that makes excellent actors look like novices. Poor Ibrahim - thats a second consecutive bad choice. He does not even have the scope to redeem himself. Absolute waste of time
