Super movie good the story itself is good watch this movie if you like gangwar and guns because or else you will not like this movie trust me that's why but it has a good story line and joju acting was awesome. Overall very good movie

this is the literal definition of an average film, 5/5 - Performances 3/5 - Screenplay 2/5 - Writing 3/5 - Dialogues (5/5) for Peter's 4/5 - Songs Screenplay and Writing let me down a bit, as a Dhanush fan, i can't say im not entertained, movie was badass af, dont come to watch this film with logic, depth and meaning, this is not karnan or asuran, this is like a Maari 3, just come and enjoy thats it

The first half was badass and the performances of the cast were really good, especially Dhanush and the villain James Cosmo. The second half was average. Slow and less engaging second half. The execution of this movie and the screenplay could have been better. Nice story though, but doesn’t really suit in a gangster movie. Other than that it’s a one time watchable movie.

Storyline is too far fetched. It's watchable if you don't try to over analyze.

Definitely worth a watch! Not Karthick Subaraj or Dhanush best, but I wouldn't say worse either. A good story, with some slow moments for sure. My only "complaint", if you are making a movie about how Eelam Tamils are oppressed wherever they go, you could've put some Eelam Tamils in the movie for representation :).

I had a feeling the movie was not going to be good, considering that Dhanush did not even promote the film. However, as a fan of his previous movies and the hype after the trailer and songs, I watched it and I actaully enjoyed it. Don't put high hopes/expectations for the movie and you might like it.

Ok movie. The entire crew acted well. However, I am big fan of James Cosmo since the Games of Thrones as Jeor Mormont the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. His underground mafia character suits him best and obviously the best fit. Of course, I hate the subject of the storyline the 'racist' and 'discrimination' of colored people and of other origin in other people's land for the sake of living the life.

Except Jojo George character and acting everything was worst in this movie. Pretty much a copy of Petta mannerism by Dhanush and Kabali storyline by Karthik. Useless and total waste of time.

They did have a gd cause regarding racism but there was poor execution. The chemistry between the characters was not up to the mark as well. I'd say the only noticeable positive trait would be the significance of racism :D Not that bad of an attempt imo. Decent movie but a lil overrated.

utterly boring ...was really expecting better from Dhanush. After VADA Chennai nothing else seen from him. Just pick up a propaganda story and add pinch of comedy and some sob story and end with hi fi action. These kind of things killed bollywood and tamil industry must not follow same. Its a bad movie and someone must tell Dhanush. We have high hope from him.

It was a good storyline but the screenplay and direction could use a lot of improvement. Just some basic tweaks and it would've been an immediate hit. Shame that such a plot was wasted with unnecessary use of so many characters

Love Kartik Subbaraj's courage to talk about eelam tamils (my origin) without being scared of anything, Eelam Tamils are the biggest supporter of Tamil Actors worldwide ( UK literally burned a cinema when vijay appeared on the screen during a movie, or France literally celebrates fully every tamil movie that is releasing), I think Indians tamils and kollywood should talk more about eelam tamils and bring eelam tamils also like in LEO of Vijay ;)
