every language has its part to play, bengali , marathi etc... anyway malayallam is a 500 yr old offhshooted language from its former , no movies can boast itself best , like a crows that shout , ayeesha is a good movie , there are loads of crappy mallu movies , so is hollywood or even thamil where malayaalam drew its inspiration from, from literature to scripts, or be it hindi where it has govt backing, none qualifies for best or worst

Didn't like the movie. I had some expectations in the beginning but it looks a different turn. BGM was a little bit weird, didn't really suit. Some of it felt like Soodhu Kavvum. Some of the scenes were seriously cringe worthy for me.

Honestly, direction and screenplay could have been a lot better than this. This movie is better than many Indian movies but no way near a good Malayalam movie. There was no strong screenplay or storyline to support the reason for giving "that" importance to Aiysha by Mama.

approach masters like bala or maniratnam , this movie would have been made up to a master piece, yes good acting , but better bgm and cinematgraphy , screenplay wld have extended the movie to better . i rather the tamil and malayalam film industry shld work together and compliment each other , movie integration

bro I think you should stop watching movies or limit your watchlist to bala or manirathnam only. This movie is about a person who lived among us, 50 years ago there was no bgm, screenplay changes based on the trend and if everyone start following bala or manirathnam then there is no new thinking in movie. for all the critics let the filimmakers make the movie
