It was an OK movie to watch if you have just over 2 hours to kill. On another note, who here thinks that Sai Pallavi's acting was a bit on the irritating side - I felt her acting was a bit on the psychotic side (apologies if I've offended anyone with my comment).

It's the apt movie at the apt time. A little discontinuous, but mostly due to large content being compacted into a 3 hour movie. A series would have been fabulous. Please don't go with by the rating here. Its a very good movie. Not as bad as it sounds here

Love it, realistic cover the current stupid Tamil government.

Had no clue throughout the movie as to where it was going... Wasted big name actors in a confusing story... there was no continuity from scene to scene and no flow of story. One of the worst movies in Surya’s and Selvaraghavan’s career .

As the biggest fan of Surya, this movie/story made no sense, at all!!!

Enjoyed the movie a lot. You need to think about what you are watching, there are a lot of hidden details within the screenplay and camerawork and lighting! If you didn't understand the first time, watch it again!

Like all Selvaraghavan films, we will only appreciate this film after 10 years. See you in 10 years celebration party..

Such a drag. Slow paced movie with bouts of overacting from lead actors Surya & Sai Pallavi and unsubstantial plot.

Truly a Mokka movie and if surya continues this way, i am not going to watch even the future movies, though i don't like his propaganda of DMK and the anti BJP . First few scenes were very hopeful like Rohit shots, but finally played like a Psycho when that is not needed. Couldn't express for 3 continue minutes despite of having political ambitions that is very obvious. In short, useless, except Sid Sriram's nice song for which the vedio is not needed. Totally pxxxxx off

Total, big time flop! Sai Pallavi is horrible to watch and hear......How can Surya do something like this, horrible direction, editing, everything.....Only solace is with Rakul Preet Singh but she is wasted.......

This is one boring movie from the beginning to the end! I wonder why Suriya agreed to work on such a horrendous script. Yes, the political and other problems highlighted in the movie are real but the movie's plot has no continuity whatsoever!

What a mega dokku movie! What did they even try to tell? Where is the continuity?

Unrealistic storyline, multiple love interests, over the top action...Well this movie is just another typical Suriya film. No different from movies like Vel, Singam series etc.

Doesn't seem like selvaraghavan movie at all, seems too confusing, film lacks clarity a lot. I don't know if its surya or selva mistake but whole film seemed to have been done half heartedly. No impact, nothing at all like Pudupettai. I even rate political movie Pugazh of Jai better than this

People who don't like the movie doesn't know politics and doesn't know selvaragavan

Story and screenplay were poorly executed and did not have continuity. Suriya is a talented actor and should choose better scripts. Sai pallavi's role was poorly scripted and portrayed. Many scenes needed crisp editing to have better flow and make sense of the story.
