I really enjoy Dhanush in every film I have watched with him, he always appears as a common man but hidden behind the façade there is intensity and strength. I love that they have made the women in the film strong and capable, I think Tamil films are far advanced in that regard within the Hindi film industry. I am now happy waiting for the sequel. All of the performances by all are great.

The movie aces in all departments. Script, dialogues, direction, acting, cinematography, BGM... all are 1st grade. Vetrimaaran is a director to watch out for. Eagerly awaiting part 2.

Another good movie from Dhanush. Was pleasantly surprised with Andrea Jeremiah's performance also. Overall, a good movie, worth watching again. All the actors and actresses involved did a good job.

Terrible movie, gangs, foul language, excess violence and hopeless storyline, mixture of many gang violence stories in one. Fast forwarded most of the movie. Do not recommend, family and kids stay away!

AS of my opinion its a good one time watch and I realize that gang movies are not the type for me cause I watched Pudupettai and I felt the same but the acting was good and I would still watch the second part of both if it comes out.
