i think budget constraints. Lot of character actors cud hv better done roles too. Hero - the comedy scenes wud hv been so much better if actor was Vimal or SK or Santhanam. Emotional scenes also were disappointing. Vani bhojan ws also poor choice. Ritika singh poor choice - someone lyk Genelia or Laila wud hv suited the role. VJS & Ramesh Tilak characters unwanted + waste of time. Like I said: producer + director had budget problems - most likely. Forced 2 include VJS as marketing gimmick.

Good movie.. Ashok Selvan acted really well. Screenplay is very crisp.. Vijay Sethupathi did the cameo role for his friendship with Ashok Selvan,despite his monstrously busy schedule. kudos to him and Ramesh Tilak.

amazing movie. the only thing that is bad is how they make meera who is only 2 years older than arjun seem like she is 75 years older than him. a guy can marry a woman 10 years younger than him but it's wrong if a woman is only 2 years older. hopefully india will catch up with the western world in not making such a big deal if a woman is older.
