There is no way Karan Johar + director would have let him get away with sub par acting and not do justice to Capt. Batra's memory. If that point was not taken back by Indian army, Pakistan would have made base out of it and control 70 km radius from there. On top they would have got permanent base on border to keep infiltrating. All the unrest in area would follow one by one and war would have been keep going from other front as well. Winning back this base was the end of the Kargil war.

This movie took me back in time. I watched that interview Barkha Dutt did with Capt Vikram Batra before he was Martyred. Also remember Pakis refusing to take bodies of their soldiers, it was such a shame for Pakistan and was all over the news. Such a good movie, very true to the events and a great tribute to our Great Indian Army. Salute to our brave soldiers.Jai Hind!

What a beautiful movie and the resemblance to those who represented the people in this real life story is eerie. Siddharth and Kiara do make a lovely pair and their performances well played, but the action scenes in the movie were a class apart. It is a great reminder to all of us that we sleep peacefully, all thanks to these brave men who keep our borders safe.

Bogus movie, wasted nice script. Director & Hero poor execution..!! Are terrorists dumb or the movies show like this? Terrorists are highly intelligent, they know that they will be trapped/surrounded. They would be having counter signals in these cases. What a movie. One of Sidharth's best works. Him and Kiara make such a pair. The plot and performance was so powerful. Glad it was based on a true story and didn't involve petty fights or bullies within the army. The brotherhood was real. Enjoyed it.
