The first part was realistic but the ending is too filmy and lacks credibility, as if it's taken from a Jackie Chan movie.

True depiction of the current state of affairs in the so called God's Own Country, Kerala. People are looking to exploit and embarrass you by spreading gossips. They are extremely sexually frustrated and need a few brothels in every towns. Otherwise, more and more innocent women will be raped. It is not criticism, but reality. Movei is showing it very well. Great cast and wonderful performances!

Do watch. We need to highlight the fact that men see women as objects (Sex, slavery, housewife). Not all, but most and these movies help change that perspective. And the other good message in the movie is Humans can be both Devil and God, so be very careful of one's surrounding and especially people one deal with. Trust has to be earned.

TW SA, forced drug use & p*rn, sexism, domestic abuse, slutshaming, blackmail, etc. Extremely hard to watch. The fear, rumination, horrification, hopelessness, devastation, pain, Amala portrayed them very well, I could feel it through the screen. Men are still the biggest threat to women's security, health and well-being, and dare act as if they care, love, support and will protect them. Truly disgusting, no empathy, no self-reflection, never holding themselves and others accountable, always treating others with violence. Ugh
