I felt it was pretty average... time pass though. Rated it Action 4.0, Storyline 3.0, Perf 3.0. Story line is built on some naivette about the protagonist's understanding of the Indian Justice System. The action around getting public support for social justice was poorly enacted.

Just an average masala entertainer. Wondering why this movie was a hit, I mean this movie is just like other Rohit Shetty movies. Regardless of your opinion regarding the movie, I highly recommend you guys watch Temper! It is much much much more realistic and entertaining than this crap!

I would also recommend Ayogya as an alternative adaptation. Sure, it is 90% identical to Temper, but has enough differences to make it stand out more than Simmba. Funny thing is, the others played merry-go-round with localizations. Temper: Hindi dub and subtitles, Tamil dub and subtitles, Kannada dub Ayogya: Hindi subtitles, Telugu dub and subtitles, Kannada dub, Malayalam dub

A pretty decent remake. I could watch either version, depending on the mood I'm in. Ranveer is always watchable, he does the charming-rogue thing very well. I wish they hadn't shown Singham in the trailer and instead saved his appearance as a surprise. I guess they used his involvement as a way to promote the movie but still.. It's an entertaining movie, you could spend two and a half hours in worse ways.

Rohit Shetty screwed up this movie in all possible ways.. Original movie TEMPER was way better than this ugly piece.. Puri Jagannadh and NTR did fabulous job in Telugu and this is complete opposite to that.. If anyone want to watch the original, please do watch it in Telugu..

Good movie. True that main story was copied from telugu version of it BUT few scenes and climax are totally different and these are cool to watch. Most scenes in 1st hour felt boring but movie picked up its pace slowly. Always liked Ranveer Singh but this story isn't for him. Overall its a one time watchable film.

Ranveer is a great actor to start this trend of mixing humour with such action. I loved the way he mixed English, Marathi and Hindi so effortlessly! He carried this movie very well on his muscular shoulders! I guess he is the next heart throb of Bollywood! The icing was the cameo appearances of two other great stars! Worth watching until the end and I looking forward to the sequel. Well done Producer and Director!

I don’t know if you know (you probably do), but Simmba is the remake of the Telugu film Temper starring Jr. NTR. If you haven’t watched it I would highly recommend it. It’s definitely a more gritty and darker film compared to Simmba.

If you guys didn’t know already, Simmba is a remake of the Telugu film Temper directed by Puri Jagannath, and starring Jr. NTR, Kajal Agarwall, and Prakash Raj. If you have yet to watch Simbba I would recommend you watch Temper first. Even if you have watched Simmba I would still recommend watching Temper. I will say even though it’s a masala action film, Temper is definitely more grittier and violent than Simmba.
