They have made a mockery of IFS - silly movie - hope our officers are not so immature - no idea, why Bolywood movies, always try to give a huge build up to main characters like Jahnvi here, unlike Malaylam / regional movies, which shows the characters as they are in real-life!

Diplomats are professional liars, not trained in hand to hand combat. What an idea for a Diplomat to try to neutralize a professional assasin! The assasin also turned out to be an amateur. What a story! No heros like 007 or villains like Amresh Puri! However, I like Jhanvi; Sri Devi's brilliance still shines!

I'm appalled, how brain blind are Indians in general, in this comment section. Literally nobody is talking about how easily Indians get sold to power and money and how absurdly corrupt the system is, still people choose to be blind sighted about it. this movie is not a mere entertainment - its a thought provoking movie to elevate our consciousness above money and power.

watchable, Adil Hussain stole the show in last few scenes

I liked the conspiracy and chaos created in the plots felt similar to CIA conspiracy movies so the plot and storyline was well done. I did not like the lead character, she was alright pretty but acting was not so great I was mostly distracted by her fake panting. Liked that there were some new faces and the cast was more than just the lead character so it helped not focusing on that as much. Decent movie.

Despite a few hick ups/unreal incidents, it is worth watching. One of those hick ups is when a Prime Minister/Presidents visits another country, public is not allowed for miles.

Jahnvi is always consistent; regardless of her roles, she always lacks passion and seems out of touch. She is a cure for insomnia! Additionally, she surely did not get the good looks like her contemporaries. I guess NEPOTISM is real in Bollywood!

Intelligent world, good supporting cast. But the lead and story are rather unconvincing - this is still desi masala entertainment packed into an intelligent world. I appreciate the movie's lack of hardcore jingoism and relative nuance in political views. Somehow, despite the weak lead, the film worked for me. For the ones who want to watch a convincing foreign services world without the over the top heroism action, I recommend The Diplomat on Netflix.
