What a rubbish movie!!! A single actor in this movie is very raw, untalented! Though I am not malayali, yet I saw Manichithrathazu more than two hundred times. Such classic and legend movie! No other remake movie can compare with that malayali movie. This Kannada movie really insulted the original movie! It should be given zero stars instead of five. Yuck

FYI this was the biggest blockbuster in the KFI. The “raw” actor is the super star of our industry. Seeing Kannada movie, other industries remade the same movie, however other industries did not know about the movie till 2004. Extremely sad that your knowledge is this low.

Just because it is not the original, does not give it any reason to be bad. The movie replaced Chandanavana's favorite actors for some more well known ones for Mollywood. The director added some new details to make it more unique, there is no way to truly compare them.
