Can't believe that even such an established and talented director is making movies like this non-sense. I live in Canada and not just this nation but countries like England, Australia and many eastern european nations are affected by this sort of immigration problems more specifically by people from Punjab. Serbia also cancelled visa free entry for Indians cause of people like these. Even after literally dying while trying to cross borders illegally in Baja Desert or Manitoba borders people are still not trying to go through legal channels. SUCH A SHAME!

It is a rotten tomato. First disaster by Hirani and totally because of the lead cast !! Not even worth fast forward watching,

Dunki is a great family entertainer, which might not be RKH or SRK’s best work but is still a cinematic masterpiece. The cast shine in their roles, with each nailing the right mix between comedy and emotion. Vicky Kaushal nails his special appearance and Anil Grover is the breakthrough performer for me. The music supports the strong screenplay well. There are a few inherent flaws with the logic of the story though. At times, the second half feels a bit lengthy but the satisfying climax makes up for it. Overall, it’s a must-watch feel good entertainer.

Hirani is strangely off color in Dunki. He has made so many blockbusters. Dunki is probably SRK's best movie in the last decade. Way better that Pathan, Jawan, Zero and all. But it's not anywhere near Hirani's best. The story is decent but the screenplay focuses outside of the main plot. As a result there is no connect. Shahrukh shines in the second half but looks terrible as the young man. Pannu is just passable. Supporting cast does well.

Tapasee and SRK make an ideal couple; both hideous alike and overly dramatic!

10/10 Movie

This movie is definitely not one of SRK best works. The plot was slightly lame and the ending was ridiculous. Very disappointed in this movie.

Beautiful movie and beautiful story ! I laughed a lot then cried a lot... It's a meaningful story especially for immigrants who fled their country against their will to have a better life. but our homeland will always have the biggest place in our hearts <3

It's the most horrible storyline, movie, and overacting movie and it doesn't work at all when you try to hide your age with new techno, only to ridicule yourself.

Quite a crappy film… poor story, screenplay, cinematography as well as overall direction. Not even a single scene was engaging. And why would you try to cast Shah Rukh in the role of an army officer who is in his early 30s? The wrinkles on his face are a dead giveaway from the word ‘Action’. Such an incredible actor and you can’t cast him appropriately, then that’s entirely on to the director. Didn’t know Raju Hirani could make something as lousy as this.

DUNKI is good movie. It's just that Rajkumar Hirani's previous films have all been outstanding, so the expectations were very high. DUNKI is a good one time watch. The story's end should NOT have been trying to do another DUNKI to go back to India from London now... It should have been different. The EMOTIONAL SCENES were really good, but the comedy was lacklustre and kinda cringe.

The script was too weak, the story was not bad but needed some punch to make it a great movie.

everything was good except the story, dialogues, direction, and acting.

To be honest in this all the supporting actors did very well.but Tapasse was poor did overacting and Srk was over expressive sometimes.
