

Superb mass movie with great score and acting

This is a really well written movie. There are no inappropriate scenes in the film, although a rape takes place of screen. The acting by the entire cast is amazing, Dhanush does a particularly great job as both director and lead actor. There's one unnecessary dance song that ruins the mood abit towards the end of the movie, other than that it's a really great film. Because of the violence I would recommend age 12+. Overall I would give this 4/5 - it's a real family tragedy movie.

Bro. The movie was pretty good but how the brothers suddenly changed to become villains was BS, that was complete nonsense.

Excellent direction and production but a bloody sick "family" story, even if you can stand the killing action. Music by the Maestro AR Rahman does all the talking. No need for dialogs!

Nice movie 🎥

Story: Big brother takes care of 2 younger brothers and baby sister Durga after parents vanish. The two brothers betray their oldest brother and stab him. Very brutal story, yet emotional. Durga is the only sibling who loves her big brother.

Ending: The youger sister Durga gets râpėd by bad guys and her own brothers are responsible. So they get the guy and butċher him royally. In the finale, she kïlls the youngest brother and big brother kills middle brother Muthu. At same time big brother bürns alive main villain.

Finale Last Scene: Policeman Prakashraj wants to encounter him to not leave loose ends.. But big brother is smarter than he thinks and big brother escapes with sister Durga. Also, middle brother wife does not want their baby... so big brother adopts the baby without adoption process and they leave the town. So sad story. I cried.

Movie had potential to be even better. First half was good and interesting, Second half felt abit rushed and I think this showed in the writing aswell. It didnt feel natural when the brothers turned on him as it is shown they grew up without parents since childhood, respected D and were close then suddenly bam it makes no sense. Other than this, it is a OK movie to watch when bored but nothing extradionory like people are hyping.
