In a five-star movie by Bhansali, Alia is perfect for this role, the budding star Shantanu is so innocent! Good photography and excellent direction after Dil de chuke sanam by Bhansali. A must watch on a big screen.

As someone who has seen Shantanu Maheshwari since his 'Dil Dosti Dance' days, it was gratifying to see that same but improved talent shine next to the amazing Alia Bhatt. Over all, a very solid film that sheds light on a topic most of us try to ignore.

Amazing Movie - MUST WATCH

I love the Alia with the angst, but for this particular movie, I think she went a little overboard or maybe the director did. Alia has the natural swag and angst, but she poured a little to much salt to the dish.

Really nice storyline and performance! Don't know how much it's based on a true story, but Rahim Lala (Karim Lala) actually was a Pathan from Afghanistan, who was based in Mumbai and truly a great human being as its shown in the movie. He later got killed by "Mafia"...

I have never commented a movie in my life in inet. But this movie demands to be praised. Hearth and soul touching, if you are a sensitive human being to emotions, thoughts, pain and love! It is a simple story about a deep rotted issue in the society. Even in Dvarika, at time of Lord Krisha, these devis of love are mentioned and were a part of the society. I bow myself to all the women who are preventing the society to collapse.
