What a drastic improvement from his 1st movie, Nayakan! Just within an year Lijo has improved his craft so much. The overlapping storyline with flawless scaffolding has been implemented very well. The rate of growth shown by Lijo in 1 year is a trailer the level to which he has grown in 10 years to make something as lovely as Jallikkattu. As a standalone review, this movie is just an average one by Lijo's standards. I'm watching these to experience his growth as a director.
