Wonderful movie. Much appreciated to the people who showed the splendid first ever world cup won by India under Kapil Dev ji. Thanks for making this possible to give more inspirations and hope to the people on cricket. The whole Indian team showed an outstanding performance. I'm very proud of them. Hats of to our cricket team.

Very good film that does well to capture the period settings, attire, hairstyles and most importantly, how much the win meant to India. There are several touching moments in the film with the last half hour maintaining nail biting tension and the joyous celebrations that follow the win. A remarkable achievement by a team that wasn't even considered to be underdogs but merely cannon fodder, the fact that through sheer grit, determination and the whole nation willing them to win, did just that, win emphatically! Well done Kabir Khan. RS did well to show Kapil Dev's charisma and drive.

typical indian movies, always adding chilly powder of emotions to make it like they overcame everything that came at them, reality is somewhat different. fact yes they won but how they showed in a movie is unrealistic. well money is to be made 2011 next.... hahahahah

World Cup recreated! I was born in 1983 - missed it then. Thanks for this movie - feels as if I was there. Best part about this movie is the team spirit that they have retained because a game is all about teamwork.

Winning a cricket world was a remarkable achievement and unforgettable memory; this movie was about India, but I like to include Pakistan in this unique happiness as Pakistan also won a world cup in 1992. Both countries have the same culture and problems and won the world cup. Great!

Nice movie but overly dramatized. Too much of jingoism and unnecessary music. No wonder a flopped movie. There is not always a need for masala and unwanted rona dhona in a movie.
