its a FACT: Similar thing happened with my friend in 1993. He was also promised with a good job and so he sold his ambasador car, managed to save money and went to some middle east country. Soon as he reached, his passport was confiscated, and he was taking care of Sheep heard. There is no way he could come back. people were murdered for escaping as they belived that non arabs were only worth as labor. Some how he came back to india and its been now more than 27 yrs now.
