All actors seem to look well past their use-by date. Wasted effort looks like. Tells you that there was someone on Chandramukhi 1 that made it all work, who isn't on this project (perhaps an assistant director).

This movie is disaster. Trying to continue the original story but turn out to be cringe, strange and unbearable movie. There isn't horrors, comedy, twist at all in this movie. The original one will keep you entertained from the first minutes till the end but for this movie, Kadavule, I really want it to finish quickly. The actors character are mostly boring and totally bland. Then, Kangana as chandramukhi? Encore Kadavule save me.

Not even a single scene up to the mark. Feeling bad while seeing Vadivelu's comedy. Hero "Ragava aala vidra aandavaa" nu solla vachitaaru. P.Vasu avar name initial maathri write & direct panirukaaru. Screen full ah cringe kootam. Movie full ah cringe scenes. Clearly they are trying to fool the audience with the classic name of 'Chandramukhi'.

Somehow they developed story to link with part one.. But the execution is poor . Mokkai climax. They didn't have to replicate everything from part 1 (Nayanthara to Mahima Nambiyar, Konjam neram song etc).. Should have picked Vidyasakar for the music. Should have consulted Madhu Muttam , the original writer of Manichitrathaazh

Very eye pleasing scenes and different from the original Chandramukhi, but still a good watch. People complain too much and they have seen much worse. The actors all did a good job. I love Kangana and watched it for her but ended up seeing some good Tamil actors do a good job.

Unpopular opinion, but I really enjoyed the movie. I think that Raghava Lawrence did a good job of trying to show the characteristics of Rajini. Kangana's dancing was also really good. The comedy wasn't too bad and had me chuckling at times. Of course, it will never meet the expectations of the original, but it was still a fair attempt at a sequel.

Sequels are rarely better than the originals. Even with Rajini & Jothika acting, we may be still struggling to go past the heights of the original movie; I believe Chandramukhi still holds the record for the longest screened movie in theatres, even after some 17 years! This is going to be a failure right from the outset. An unnecessary attempt, especially without the original cast.

Never compare this movie to the original one; doing so may hinder your enjoyment. It wasn't that bad. They attempted a plot that links to the original. However, the twists in the plot and the predictability of the ending are the downsides that failed this movie. Overall, this movie is worth watching once.
