Is this movie appropriate for kids?

Admittedly I had no idea what this film was about and only watched it as Sanya Malhotra was the main lead. A coming of age film as a newly married and soon widowed woman begins to realise how very different she wanted her life to be, instead of what it was. A great cast of characters with none giving a bad performance from a cleverly scripted film exploring the grief, turmoil, avariciousness, gossip and familial rivalries that surface at such events. If you pay close attention to SM's character, you won't be surprised by the ending! Worth watching.

Slow, monotonous and depressing. Good work by character artists. Could not finish as it gave me headache.

A beautiful, heart warming story enacted beautifully by each of the characters. Sanya Malhotra, Ashutosh Rana and Sheeba Chadda are top notch. All the characters play their part with ease and are a delight to watch. Leaves you with a smile and tear in the eye.

I loved the film and grandmas answer to the half baked marriage proposal. Sanya Malhotra is fabulous, no surprise since I saw her in her first movie, showed showed promise! Supporting cast is impeccable too.

Total bakwaas movie, very bad storyline and typical bolloywood sterotyping showing bad light about Hindus and their rituals. Waste of time.

Don't be mislead by the title, Sanya is not the pagglait in the movie but the dogmatic, opportunistic elders around her are. A heartwarming, beautifully scripted movie which will leave you with a smile and possibly goosebumps in the end. Conservatives, don't worry there is nothing outrageously progressive that will hurt your sensibilities either. A definite must watch movie.

Loved the performance, storyline and the fact that this was shot in Lucknow, my hometown. Beautiful depiction of the society and their Ideologies which needs to be mended and moreover the roles women play in their lifetime. Loved every single bit of it. The best part: "JAB LADKI KO AKAL AATI HAI NA, TOH DUNIYA USSE PAGGLAIT BULATI HAI".

Tbh the first half of the movie started to slow for my taste, so I almost stopped watching. But I am glad that I didnt drop it! The movie really highlights the different sides of every appearing person. I especially love the biggest character development of the movie: Astik (deceased husband). It started of potraying as him as heartless and selfish man, but as the story goes on, we learn more and more about his personality...Even though he wasnt shown once the whole time! PS:Who else thought that Sadhya and Akansha would fall in love. I was kinda hoping for it :D Also loved the music!

Wow ! , started watching this with no expectations but it's a good movies, though some events are quite unrealistic like marriage between siblings. The director missed an opportunity of a powerful scene when Sandhya reads the Hisaab , it was a crying moment.
