Though the story is inspiring, becoming IPS or IAS is a futile exercise. They will be taking orders from corrupt politicians and are very helpless if they want to do their job right. Many times it will end up with up murder, wrongful suspension/termination or transfer to meaningless department. Moreover the subject and preparation to become one of these is out of touch with the reality that India is facing.

Very inspirational. i showed this movie to my dad as his life story was almost the same, and he had tears in his eyes. My Dad left the house at 17 to look for oppurtunities as he was born in a poor family, and after the strugle of 8 years at the age of just 25, he owend his own trasport company. Through this movie he remembered the struggle of his life, how he was working hard while staying away from his family for many years but supporting them financially.

Hands down the best and most inspiring movie of the year. I cannot understand why directors can't make movies like this to make a positive impression on peoples' lives. What a great movie! 50*!! This will be on top of my list forever. I was under the impression that no director would make a full-length movie that depicts the inspirational-successful journey of a person despite facing hardcore struggles that too without oxygen support!! what a movie! masterpiece! probably the interview was the only weakpoint in the film. massey has finally arrived with a big performance. the supporting cast is so apt and good. it's impossible not to get emotional when sharma clears the interview and the last scene in the police station will give you goosebumps. the best movie from bollywood in years
