Ok so the first half made zero sense and was full of narrative holes. The last hour or so made up for it with the backstory and battle scenes but overall the movie is an odd mess.

The first half of the movie is utterly confusing and all over the place. The film only gains cohesion in the backstory. Weird choice by the director. Needed better editing.

first half is difficult to understand. the battleseen is mesmerising. is there any way to see in bigscreen. awaiting for tamil version.

@Kanangi some applications like chromecast or airplay may work to experience it in bigscreen..but u have to try to out to see the rendering and quality of it.enjoy the movies

CGI is good, especially for a Telugu film. BUT,this story"telling" makes NO SENSE. Most confusing thru entire film. So many errors left unedited.Who is Bahubali? Disappointed sadly

@Kathy yeah now I understand why the internat'l release was re-edited. The first half has no sense of narrative structure. The 2nd half was better, but what were they thinking?

Agree with others - first half not coherent but big improvement in the second half. If you want to watch Einthusan on TV, go for a htpc with XBMc or OPENELEC as there is a plugin

Xora X. I'm not confused at all. I'm talking about FILM continuity, which is the editor's responsibility. First half was amateurishly edited. Pretty bad and baffling choices.

Editing is as important to films as directing. It makes or breaks a movie. The stark difference in flow between 1st & 2nd half of this film makes me wonder about the choices made

Good movie but you have to accept that you need to wait for a lot of the background story. I think you just have to accept the first half and kind of have to "suffer" through it.

The second half explains a lot and I think the war scenes are very well made in terms of computer graphics. But of course I can't wait for the sequel! Thanks Einthusan!

Great action movie with nice graphics however the story is preety dramatic and keeps changing rapidly ..! there is room for improvement but over all a great time pass..!!

Pretty good movie considering all the CGI, which most Indian movies do pretty badly. This one wasn't too bad. Borrowed a lot of elements from '300' and 'Lord of the Rings'.

@Tyah I am not confused by the story. The first half is just sloppily edited, which is a technical error and affects FILM continuity. Not overall story.

One minute they're in a tropical grove, Tamannah walks out of that straight into snow. Two minutes later, desert. Then soldiers appear out of nowhere. It's a mess.

Cont'd - Either Mahishmati is a kingdom inside a biodome where you can traverse all climates in a matter of minutes or the editing was sloppy. Take your pick.

Movie stayed with me for days. The beauty and the horrible in one movie. Felt Prabhas was extraordinary; didn't know of him. Overall good acting. Just WAY too violent.Why need it?

I don't understand why people are complaining about not liking the first half of the movie. The movie made sense the whole way through and was fantastic. Thank you Einthusan!
