Worst movie, preaches extramarital affairs, third rated movie. One of the worst films of Kamal. Storyline is even ackward!! Even a KG kid won't laugh at the comedy in this movie!!

The movie is more of a biography of Kamal and a tribute to himself than anything else. The two stories in the movie don't gel, and KB is wasted, used mostly to praise Kamal.

I see a lot of negative comments here, calling this Kamal's tribute to himself & how KB sir was wasted. Just flip the roles: this is Kamal's movie for KB sir. Everything gels well

And although Kamal is shown as dying in ths movie, it probably denotes what a celestial hole KB sir's demise would leave; & even in his demise the audience will 've reason to smile

The historical part is just so relevant & thankfully forms the backbone of the story. That is what gives us the chance to see KB sir's magic on screen. One of the best movies ever.

Cinematography of the movie was amazing, acting was pure brilliance, music was extraordinary and casting was perfection. The only thing disappointing was the dialogues, especially in the "mythological" scenes. If comedy was what they had intended to deliver in those parts, it was a miserable outcome..crazy mohan could have done the dialogues.

Nonetheless, I LOVE KAMAL HASSAN SIR. Uthama villian is definitely not one of his masterpieces because of dialogues and probably a little bit of an un-relatable storyline for a common man.
