Mundane topic - looking for brides.A gazillion movies have been made on this topic. Some things never change in the film industry. No original stories , no experimentations , no great filmography, nothing. Telugu films in general have few storylines " A boy meets a girl and the rest is all about how they navigate situations to finally get married.." . What a bore! As far this story goes, successful US based professional has to come all the way to India to get an arranged marriage? which world is this!

Rohit - While I do agree about the mundane topic - I have to disagree with your last statement. There are still many people specifically in the South of India and those who come from the South who believe in arranged marriages. It is not like just because you have moved to the West your thoughts will not remain traditional. By the way I did not believe in arranged marriage when I got married in late 1990s...But we cannot generalize that feeling.

Well, it was a cute movie. performances were great!! Entertaining!! And what more does people expect from after all a MOVIE? You know? acting and all.. it was entertaining ofcourse. I would say the same if sampoornesh babu did this story and same performance.

Lead actor being a standup comedian, though shown in a small bit the character comes across like a TED speaker. At-least the small bit could've been written by a real standup.

Disclaimer: My marriage was arranged through prayer & many informal meetings to understand my then fiancé. My Telugu friend stuck in a marriage match making machine. His parents have no respect for his wish. girls are have a sky high goals and are not even willing to consider him because they think he is short. Good men are stuck. Girls are making poor choices just driven cinematic illusions. Movies are a great medium. The director attempted a great venture! Beautiful!

While it may be boring and pathetic for the older, arranged married couples, it is a decent watch for the younger indians navigating marriage. The director tried to make an interesting point and he, of course, may have done it better. But if we really are looking for exceptional acting and direction, tollywood hasn't made it there yet. For a telugu romantic drama, it's a definitely worth a watch.

This is an issue for free account holders. The only way to resolve this is to wait for 2min WITHOUT clicking on the game screen. Give it 2min and the video will load by itself and there will be a few ads like this in the middle, just don't click anything and wait so the movie can play by itself.
