Salman Khan is living LEGEND !!

The plot and theme seems to be stuck in re-wind re-play mode for film makers who make movies about and on Kashmir, including the music. It is too bad because the land itself is beautiful and the people are like people everywhere, with every kind of faults and qualities. Film makers either over simplify the theme or they make the issues insurmountable and illogic in some parts. I think these kind of movies while sweet and well intentioned if coupled with so-so performances will continue to not succeed at box-office.

thks Einthusan for this beautifull film. It actually reminded me one of these great Impressionist paintings: Monet's Nympheas! the photography was just amazing! Some slow-motion sequences could be avoided or shortened, it was a little bit too much sometimes, otherwise I enjoyed wathing it !

just a question: do isolated floating schools like Wular one really exist in Kashmire? the dreamer inside me hopes it does! ;))

Kudos to photography and it's a new angle in the love story. Director made a very good effort with the storyline. Both Hero and Heroine debut is worth and they did their acting very well. As usual cinematography, location, theme , songs all are great. Notebook is a worth watching movie

Awesome movie! Fresh faces with good performances. The background of the story as well as the character development is great. I loved that they used Jammu and Kashmir as location for the movie. A beautiful state which is marred with violence. A must watch movie.

Thoroughly enjoyable! Not your usual run of the mill romance, which makes a change. Kept you guessing right to the end. Would they or wouldn't they ever meet in the flesh! As for the kids they sure keep the male teacher on his toes! Who would have thought, there was a connection between the two leads. Nothing like history...
