

This is a decent movie. There are some issues with a plot but the acting by the cast makes up for it. Janhvi's acting hasn't really improved but her cricket scenes do show that she is putting some effort in to her roles. The movie gives an important message of not living your dreams through others - so many parents put unfair pressure on their children & push them in to sports/hobbies/careers they don't want. There is one skippable kiss scene in the first half but other than that it's pretty family friendly. Overall I would give this movie 3/5.

The most beautiful moment of the movie is the last bit which shows the father's realization of his happiness. Very heart warming! very sweet!

It was a boring movie

There has been a plethora of movies based on sports lately. Most of them are not worth remembering. At least this one is not a so-called biopic where the protagonist gets to do all kinds of extraordinary stuff. It has a decent premise for a storyline but that's about the only positive thing. The screenplay is ludicrous. Wish some care was given to the characters and how things pan out.

Janhavi looks lovely and her eyes light up the screen but she does not look like a cricketer. This must rank as Raj Kumar's worst performance. He just does not produce a nuanced performance. Even Kumud Mishra is made to look out of sorts. Zarina Wahab escapes the haphazard plot only because she has limited screentime. She is full of grace and poise. Music is downright terrible. Rajasthani folks sing Punjabi songs as everyone seems to do nowadays
