"Parasakthi" powerfully encapsulates the Tamilians' resistance to Hindi imposition in Tamil Nadu. This film is masterfully crafted and is a must-watch. It shines as a significant cinematic achievement, despite criticism from anti-regional language advocates. "Let the fire spread," the iconic phrase by Aringar Anna, is the foundation of the Dravidian movement, the anti-Hindi movement that this film compellingly represents.

Ravanan existed long before Rama, and Ravanan spoke Tamil. Hindi is not India's national language, but one of its official languages, like English, and it is easy to learn in 60 days if needed. Before the Aryan invasions, the native languages of this region are Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Odia, Marathi, Pali, Prakrit, Assamese, and Bengali (Classical languages). Tamils reject only the force imposition, not learning, because enforcement will destroy native languages.
