The word 'Hindu' or 'Hindustan' are even not Indian words. You don't find them ever mentioned in Sanskrit. Hindu's maybe the majority in country, but they are not the original inhabitants of the land. Read Arundhati Roi an she will explain you how Hindu's masacred the original inhabitants on India to become in power. Fact is: without Mahatma Gandhi India would never become an independent nation. His non-violance movement got the international attention and that is why Brittain had no other choice.

Arundhati Roi - yes, another agent of the intelligentsia that is perpetuating the balkanization of the country. Rajiv Malhotra does a great primer on her and many others in which he exposes the subversive tactics of her and these contemporary "intellectuals" who were otherwise propagating Aryan Invasion Theory which has no empirical basis other than being a tool of western propaganda as a means of subversion. When you read a book, don't just read a book for the sake of reading it - understand its arguments and deduce its validity. Unfortunately critical thinking skills no longer exist today.

the begining of this movie is incorrect indian history. india has been a colony since the invasion of aryans in 1800BCE! and moving forwards, nehru wanted partition because his daughter indira was married to feroz gandhay (nephew of jinnha's mother and cousin to jinnha's wife and uncle to jinnha's daughter) he disapproved of the relationship and as jinnha was more popular he took it very personally to then incite partition anger in india.
