highly disappointing and never thought Shankar would pledge his talents and self-respect to the local politician for want of money. Another is Kamal who is another disappointment. No story, no logic, no music, and finally spoiled our time and mood.

Shankar didn't change that much since 1996. He need to have his underwear song in each of his movies. What was the need for Calendar song just 1 minute after Come back Indian song? Fortunately Indian 2 didn't do much damage to Indian, like Chandramukhi 2 did to Chandramukhi

dont waste your time, this is the worst movie of this decade

Man at no point did the bgm stop. Takes any seriousness out of the storyline.

If you can ignore the fact that the movie is a xenophobic vehicle to blame everyone except politicians for issues and don’t go in expecting this movie to be hard hitting like the previous movie in this universe was for its time, the costumes make the sets colourful enough for you to watch.

Started off nice, after that over exaggeration. Expected a lot, but such a waste of time.

I am going to differ from many ppl here, It's not a bad movie as they say, it's a good movie but they should have shortened some scenes, would have been much better. A typical Shankar movie, Indian part-2 mixed with Anniyan. Kamal, Siddharth etc all acted well, Ani's songs, BGM good. It's a one time watch, waiting for part-3.

He was 100 years old WW2 veteran in the first movie (1996) so is he 126 years old in this movie packing abs and figthing heavy men? Logic and physics is out of the table. Many good movies are coming out and Shankar & Sundar C is giving the same BS over and over again. No talent and they are out ideas. It was a torture to watch this garbage. Absence of Sujatha and Rahman exposed Shanker and his abilities.

And these are the "stars" who sit at awards shows and revered like Gods and blockbuster sound effects when they stand and go on stage. And they speak some bullshit on the mic and the fans applause as though they got a million bucks given to them. Shit acting and shit fans who have not seen proper movies their whole lives.

If Bobby Simha had logged into his father's apple account and used the "find my phone" feature, the movie would have ended in the next 10 mins. No need for him to go to Gujarat, Punjab and near India - Pakistan border in Rajasthan !!! What a $#ith0le of a movie !! Nice that Shivakarthikeyan rejected it.

Shanker and his tech gimmick are the story of the past. He survived on Sujatha and ARR. He was exposed in Indian 2. Watch the Malayalam movie Golam and the way it ends makes you eagerly to wait for the Part 2 of a sequel. Golam is a low budget film compared to the money Shanker must have spent for one scene. Waste of money and resources. He should focus on his daughter's glamorous dance programs than directing movies.

People died making this, and many more died watching this 💀

INDIAN was probably the best tamil movie from the 90's! Everything was just perfect! Kamal's double role, a beyond recognizable Suganya, a sexy Raveena Tandon, a beautiful Manisha Koirala, Senthil-Konthamani's jokes, soul-stirring songs by AR Rahman, sentiments lines by late Manorama.... I just can't believe we had to wait 28 years (!!!) to get served a total BS sequel movie like this ???? Seriously Director Shankar sir WTF?!? The ONLY good part of this movie is the trailer at the end for Indian 3 that looks quite decent.... or is this the official end of the tamil movies' supremacy era???

This is what happens if u rest on your previous successes and dont try to improve something. i mean how the hell did shankar think giving each varmakalai a seperate outcome like running like a horse, behaving like a woman, singing until death etc. is a great and innovative idea? This is more like I movie 2nd part rather than Indian 2.
