OK movie. Director tried to do his best in the screen play but has missed critical points in criminal investigations. Criminal used to be in the victims house a lot of times. He might have wiped his finger prints but there is certain possibility his hair should be there. Didn't they collect hair sample and go for genetic test? Also, why did the police not try to find the actual criminal? He is not a powerful or influential person. Why did they try to protect him?

Why would the police suspect the actual murderer? How would they collect the hair sample and check with his DNA when they do not even know of his existance? That is where Ramachandran is brilliant in his performance using his brain to solve the mystery.

Movie has a good script way it takes us through is good lot of small details that director has included like tea shops glass breaking sound and I like the little details they put on the movie at the end that Judge break the pen after the verdict.

It is a common practice for the Judge to break the pen after issueing a Death sentence. A metaphorical way to hope another Death Sentence won't be issued ...
