I really enjoyed this film, Samuthirakani is always playing his parts well and I especially enjoy him in his role as husband and father. Great and valuable lesson in this beautifully told story from a very human perspective. You should watch it.

It all depends on the kids. As one of the reviewers has commented, times have changed. Everyone is so selfish in life, no amount of such movies will really move (movie) the younger gen. They are in their world of themselves. It does not make sense to sacrifice your life for your children or even for your wife, if you can help it.

Wonderful movie. Much needed for the current society where most of the couples running behind money and playing inside with economical wealth ego. Money is needed, without money, it's difficult to survive but more than family bonding is important. A family with love can win anything and overcome daily problems. Mr.Samuthirakani would like to give wonderful messages to this society by the way of good movies. I loved this movie.

A great concept wasted by a very regressive male chauvinistic director. "Aan" devathai is a sexist movie unfairly villifying an ambitious career oriented women. I am all for man sharing household work (or being a house husband), and woman making mistakes for greed and living a life within means etc. But to generalize all high earning IT lifestyle to be lurid with sexual flings and corrupt bosses is extremely prejudiced. Outright denigration of ambition/money/career etc. is sending the wrong message of romanticizing poverty.
