ngl the story is pretty mid but it was pretty entertaining to watch and I am looking forward to the next part too. I think films with historical references and superpower undertones are worth escaping into as long as it is done well. They did pretty well with the CGI so its deffo worth a watch. this film would've been particularly popular with the western world more if there wasn't references to God and hinduism - its very much giving Dune which was popular.

If you don't believe in Mahabharata, - this is not a movie for you. If you do, - then also, this is not a movie for you, because Krishna never asked Ashwathama to protect him in the future. - you are trying to glorify someone who Krishna despised . If you are neutral -then this is a waste of time. -you can't take 60% of the movie to state something that could have been told in 10 mins.

You are right. Lord Krishna never asked such thing. But this is not Mahabharata. Just based on it. Still it gave me goosebumps and tears in several places. Unlike Tamil movies this doesn't glorify a lie, the Dravidia n ideology.

has taken lots of english movies like star wars, mad max, little bit of wonder woman, put it in a mixer along with some old mahabaratha books to create a story that is not that great. however the visuals, graphics are at different level. funny to see the laser beams, star wars troopers speaking indian languages :)

This film is great, a perfect mixture of Ithiasa and Fantasy, nowadays kids who does not know, mahabharat will atleast try to learn it... and From South Indian Cinemas... it was taken equivalent to a Hollywood movies.. Some stupids and Idiots always comment it, but those are just fools will lick their own slush/garbage and live on that.... They wont move on, or we cannot explain them... because they eat their own garbage and then will react the same...

Total crap movie. Other than graphics and visual effects in this movie, the rest is trash. Prabhas should seriously end his career. No charisma, no good expressions and a retard looking face. Other than the Baahubali movies Prabhas is an epic failure. All other actors in this movie were also total miscast. Don't waste your time.
