this yaksies only lives in kerala and tulunad region not near manasarovar as per the scriptures. and in this movies yakshies are female version of western countries dracula/vampire will seduce or lure males and then the sharp canines will appear they bite suck and kill them by their neck... sweet

over hyped movie don't expect too much you will be for sure will be disappointed, apart from one or two scenes the rest are boring and dragging

Outstanding performance not just from Mammootty but all 3 main actors. Didn't like the undertones of caste divisions.

MAMMOOTTY ROCKS FIRSTLY!! AND THIS MOVIE IS ABSOLUTELY FIRE!! THE TWISTS HAD ME AT THE END OF MY BED AND CONSTANTLY BUGGING ARBAB WITH EVERY LITTLE THING, BEST MOVIE EVER IN THIS FOLK HORROR GENRE AND I CANT WAIT TO WATCH MORE 😭

This movie deserves an Oscar. Art at its best. Indians should be proud of movies like this. Better screenplay than Tumbaad.

Can't say it's a bad movie. I don't see anything worth the hype either. I am not really into horror movies, but from the title I expected it to be psychological horror, the kind that plays with your mind. Which it isn't.

if we look deeper into the movie, it's average person life, i don't think it's just a horror story. The movie is about how we get stuck in things we don't want to be in. Once we enter there, coming out is hard, the more we try to get out the more it sucks us in. Most of the time we don't even know (paanan didn't know there was light in the deeper Ara) we are trapped, and by the time we realise it may be too late and we become what we are trying to escape from.
