I really hope South Indians are not this violent....if so then film directors and writers need to stop portraying South India as senseless as they show in the movies....don't get me wrong, I do like Masala movies but the story has to make sense not just some ruthless people killing each other (over a piece of meat, in this case).

Xora X.....you do realise its was a movie right with a fictional story line, characters and scenes being products of the directors or writers imagination which at times are hyped for dramatic effect. It is not described as a documentary or real life story of South Indian people. So its not ok for you to seek to cast aspersions on South Indians in general based on what happens in a singular fictional movie which you happen to have come across. For example I watched American History X last week and it did not lead me to believe that all north americans had neo nazi tendencies !!!

OMG! For how long will the same old revenge type movie in a village setting go on for???? How difficult is it to make a movie without such stupid storylines? Is there a scarcity for good stories within the Tamil movie industry? Or May be these directors make movies of this calibre because it makes money? But who would pay to watch the same crap over and over again? Lots of questions in my head and please feel free to give your two cents, thank you.

Nice commercial movie, with sentiment... I wasnt bored watching it. Vishal is pretty good. The lady charaters were equally good as well. I am not from that region... But, is internal Tamilnadu, so much buried in hatred OR is it for movies they show? There seems to be lot of culture within rural setup. Good to know.
