I have a tamil background but my first option is Malayalam cinema as it is still rooted and this same approach in this movie I guest this is a serious issue with present generation,leaving their own parent behind with lame excuses of wanting to live modern life.Food for though.

I saw the song in youtube the other day..thought it was a short film...that song video covered almost the entire movie..anyways I found the movie good..pretty flat emotions more towards the pleasant side..and a good climax

A serious contemporary issue has been handled by the director so well that I feel this movie deserves an award as it stirs up our emotions at many places. Through their stellar performance, both Kozhicode Jayraj and Leela Samson have contributed to the success of this movie.

A must watch movie. The movie is an eye opener and reminds us of the mortality and the human span of life. What is life worth, if we don't love one another and make the best of what we got in our life time? Genuinely made me tear and I felt that my life is so short, what am I running after leaving behind the human relationships?

This film is dedicated to those who do not care for their parents. The whole movie is simple, quiet, and filled with normal characters seen in villages. The pain of staying in an old age home is unbearable, and I give this movie five and above stars.

I am a Tamil, I love Malayala movies more than Tamil, since malayala movies are down to earth, heart touching like this. Malayala actors are so natural, sequence of scenes follow spontaneously, photography and landscape matches well with the story, and direction is par excellence. They are low budget, with meaning full to the audience. Unlike Tamil audience who worship heroes as if they are more than god, and pay them 200 or 150 crores. What craziness is that!

One of the most natural movies and the subject touches every family. Both Jairaj and Leela lived the roles. Worth dubbing or reproducing in other languages without sacrificing quality. It is an Oscar movie.

I'm from Tamil Nadu and would always like to watch Malayalam movies for their realistic stories. This movie is heart-touching and made me understand the loneliness and struggles that the souls of old age people face today. The simple and natural scenes throughout the film are much appreciated. This movie deserves the best award in the cinema industry. It's a must-watch movie for today's generation. Hands off to the Malayalam cine industry.
