Excellent movie, well directed and well portrayed!

part 1 A good movie, in which Ms. Sridevi's acting It's a thoughtful and sweet performance, the movie is neither showy nor gimmicky, it does not need it to convey the message of the story. I almost wanted her to go for the hunky french Laurent, since her husband is a bit of an idiot...but I guess in a Hindi movie, women still have to go the respectable way of staying with the husband...

Part 2 What I liked best is the portrayal of real American life in the suburbs and the heartland and how accepting people are of foreigners, and how anyone can make their way in the melting pot.

Such a great film. So good to see Sridevi in role again after years. Just unimaginable that she passed away. So glad she had this movie to be in and to share with us. Loved it.

One of my all time favorite Sridevi films just a wonderful script and lovely cast. Sridevi ma'am's talent is par excellence and second to none and totally shines through in this movie. R.I.P Madam

What a lovely film - Sridevi was awesome. It also brings home the fact that anybody who does not know English must do this kind of test before going out West. This movie exemplifies how important it is even as far as the Immigration counter. Amit's cameo role was so cute...I do hope you or I will take his role for every Sridevi or Ram that we meet who leaves India for greener pastures.
