Excellent film, poetic and deep-seated psychological issues displayed in subtle but powerful form. The psychology of the protagonist (Om Puri) is a truthful representation of reality. The female character played by Smitha Patel provides a contrasting character to that of the hero. Her performance is heart rendering. Look for the existential crisis faced by the hero when he reads the poem and the subseqeunt realisation of the fatal flaw in his psyche.
