watching this in 2020 July. Amazing. In 2007 this movie was created. It says on the end-reel 1. by 2008 500 & 1000 Rs notes will be "removed from circulation" - done. 2. govt will provide "money card" for all transactions above Rs 1000 - partially done Aadhar card made. 3. Lots of transactions will be digitised (cattle-purchase-scene with POS machine) - done - even street vendors have PhonePe, PayTm, etc. Reel & real life seem to mimic each other. Amazing.

That thought process for showing justice to society(In fact basic theme of all Shankar movies) is good, AR Rahman once again proved there is nio competition when he is at his best.Song visuals and sets are simply awesome. Other than these this film is a disaster.Cant go through those irritating romance sequences, in fact the only point of Sriya in this movie is to accommodate those beautiful AR Rahman songs..Illogical story lines as usual beyond physics fight scenes.cant accept its from the makers of Gentleman and Anyan.DIsaster movie.

Possibly one of the worst movies i've seen. The film was saved by Rahmans amazing music. Im not sure why this film or Rajni is hyped this much, absolutely zero logic and poor execution. Shriya, despite being a wonderful dancer, has no place in this film but dance in the songs with a man whose old enough to be her father. Colourism in this is astounding too.

This movie changed my life.
