Excellent & realistic movie (made in 2 parts) based on a story by veteran writer Jeyamohan! Amazing direction by Vetrimaaran, Cinematography by Velraj - music by Isaignani Ilayaraaja and superb performances by Soori, Vijay Sethupathy and all other supporting actors make this movie another milestone in Tamil cinema history. A must watch' movie ! Rating 5/5*

Hard-hitting, gut wrenching and thought provoking. Vetrimaaran hits it out the park again. Soori is fantastic, and VJS shines with his natural performance as usual. Another top-quality film from Vetrimaaran that will sweep the national awards next year.

Soori, VJS, Director and Crew of the Movie, Awesome Job... Bad to see still the villagers are treated with no respect and the fight they have gone through. More than the movie, all these facts are hidden in the name of politics, power.

Great watch especially in the theaters. The BGM was underwhelming (for me). Soori is special, just a fantastically relatable character.

This movie is somewhat based on Naxal problems in some states in India. A Telugu movie also came last year with the title, Virata Parvam, staring Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi with similar theme. So, this is onetime watch movie. I believe the media in India have overrated this movie.

What is the quality of movies here on einthusan? Is it 1080p or 720p or lower? I feel the quality could be better. I am a premium subscriber for over 6 years. Are there any settings i need to change? Please suggest

Compared to the previous Vetri Maran's films, this one did not impress me. But still a good movie. Acting could have been better, many characters tried to act naturally but underplayed emotions when they were really needed.

People army rocks

Although it fails short of raw emotions depicted in earlier vetrimaran movies, it still stands on its own. The opening scence is quite awesome with the long shot which requires a lot of plannning. VFX is not over used unlike many other action movies. Sooris performance is top notch, however I feel GVM has the same expression and dialogue delivery in every film he acts. Overall a good watch depicting the state vs people's struggle.

Soori performance was great!….some people thinks this movie so realistic But for me this movie looks like 90 serial whereas peak harassment from bad people to good people, In such a fiction story such a fiction harassment . I didn’t even heard such harassment in a hitler concentration camps during world war, apart from that movie was so boring.

Very good acting, performance, story (hope it is not true). VERY VERY DISTURBING MOVIE --dont watch unless you wish to have awareness and strongly recommend not to watch with family/kids. ARAKKA GUNAM is very well portrayed in this movie. Its appalling to see that folks can display that side of their (arakka) mind :-( and hope its not fully true

worth watching only if one believes that most cops, politicians are there to not support good humans. Even the good one's will inadvertently succumb to the corrupt system for survival

It is an average movie at best. Much of the hype is just brilliant marketing and not based on merit. Can watch it one time, maybe.

Argh too much discrimination unkindness and director gone further showing nude, make your family members act in this kind of scenes if you plan next time Mr.Dappa maran. Try to spread positivity unity through movies don't spoil the society for making money. What kind of Naxal head he was so cool n don't care while women were in trouble 🤣

worth watching - It’s a masterpiece... Soori acted really well

In India it is happening to such a vulnerable people. We in Thamil Eelam went thru these atrocities in real life. Finally the whole world including India wiped our freedom and made sure that we will never get up.

This is a movie after some time! Honestly, I thought it was a joke putting Soori in his role, but I was wrong and he did an amazing job! Can't wait for Part 2.

An interesting theme/story line. Not suitable for children under 16. Soori acting was excellent. VS has not been given much screen time in part 1. His performance in part 2, will be great, from what I could glean from the clips at the end of part 1

Too much violance. Over exaggeration of police brutality The main charactor Suri's roll of obediant police officer is worthless. Its waste of time to watch this movie. Torturing women by stripping them and beating them should be censored. Hard to digest the story. Its a horror movie.
